Paddy Adenuga's article on almost buying Chevron Oil and Gas in Netherland was both an "inspiration" and "oppression"; Nigerians react

Paddy Adenuga
A few days ago, Billionaire son, Paddy Adenuga, shared his story of how at 29 and without his family's help he came close to buying Chevron Oil and Gas company in Netherland.

Read HERE.

He's since been a trending topic on social media and Nigerians really love and admire his guts and courage for making the move.

See all the reactions below...
Paddy Adenuga's article was both inspiration and oppression from the beginning to the end.

Especially oppression

It was a tough read for me
Paddy Adenuga can really really write! I'd keep the rest of my thoughts on his Chevron Netherlands experience for offline conversations.
Someone tell paddy adenuga that you can do anything when you've got a billionaire father...I'd rather read inspirational stories from people like Oprah who rose from the lowest of the low to becoming what she is today.
Now thinking of making a bid for film rights to the enthralling Paddy Adenuga story. A thriller, shot on 3 continents, and titled ABANDEX.
Seeing how many people are suddenly "inspired and motivated" by the Paddy Adenuga's story, I can imagine how many Edgars are being called and management teams being assembled this morning. There might be no banks and oil majors left by the time the acquisition spree is over.
That Paddy Adenuga’s story was an interesting one. Some lessons to be learnt. And frankly life is so much different between classes. God.
Paddy Adenuga‘s dad is the 2nd richest man in Nigeria. Most 29-year-olds I know did not have the kind of headstart he had on life. https://twitter.com/biggiemonzie/status/958295361050873857
Bar choke for that Paddy Adenuga article abeg, see the part where he spoke about going for Kung-Fu lessons with his Shifu that has an actual Chinese name "Heng-Wei" not all these Shifu Femi and Sensei Ndubuisi we dey see for Naija 😩😩😩😩
That Paddy Adenuga's story is motivating. I know he doesn't walk most of our shoes but you can't deny the courage and the immense lessons.
Paddy Adenuga went to meet his mentor at a health spa in a small Swiss village outside of Zurich.
Soft
The Paddy Adenuga's story taught me some things.

1. It's easier to dream when you have plenty money or you know people that have plenty money

2. Don't delete those contacts on your phone. Even that 'tunde rewire'

3. Make that money. MAKE PLENTY OF IT!!!
Three things I picked from Paddy Adenuga’s story.

1. Network. Build business relationships. Strengthen your network. Cultivate your business relationships.
2. Pride has no place in business. Do what is best for your business/ideas. Not your ego.
3. Be knowledgeable. Research.
So, Paddy Adenuga... Kungfu master, billionaire investor, military tactician, Greek literature expert, Nightlifer, strategic genius..

You had all these resources and gifts at your disposal and never considered being batman?

I mean, Lagos crime alone would have kept you busy AF
So many things to pick from Paddy Adenuga's story, the zeal, determination, also we can't say we didn't see the influence &connect in place
On this Paddy Adenuga debate I saw something totally different. Dude is intelligent and offspring considerably inherit intelligence from their mothers.
Thus, there is no way Adenuga hooked up with his mother based on her cooking skills. 💅

This line ó soft baje: "He asked me to meet him in the early spring of 2014 at a health spa in a small Swiss village outside of Zurich." - Paddy Adenuga.
