Lewis Hamilton steps out with his nephew who's dressed as a princess weeks after he sparked controversy for shaming the boy (Photos)
Formula One driver, Lewis Hamilton accompanied his nephew as they visited Disneyland Paris on Friday afternoon.
The 33-year-old was pictured holding hands with his nephew who was dressed in a Rapunzel princess dress and his infant niece as they made their way across the popular theme park's bustling Main Street.
This comes weeks after the British racing star shared a video of himself telling his nephew "boy's don't wear princess dresses" and this sparked outrage.
He has since apologised for sharing the controversial Instagram video of him shaming his nephew for wearing a princess dress.
“Yesterday I was playing around with my nephew and realised that my words were inappropriate so I removed the post. I meant no harm and did not mean to offend anyone at all. I love that my nephew feels free to express himself as we all should.”
“My deepest apologies for my behaviour as I realise it is really not acceptable for anyone, no matter where you are from, to marginalise or stereotype anyone.”
“I have always been in support of anyone living their life exactly how they wish and I hope I can be forgiven for this lapse in judgement.”
